We’re thrilled to introduce Monthly Master Classes—a brand-new opportunity for dancers to train with guest artists and elite instructors in a variety of styles. Each month, students can step beyond their regular classes to experience fresh choreography, cutting-edge technique, and inspiring instruction from some of the best in the industry.

These special sessions are designed to challenge, motivate, and energize dancers of all levels, while fostering creativity and passion for the art of dance. Whether you’re looking to try something new or take your training to the next level, our Master Classes deliver an unforgettable experience.

Iyana Voltaire

Iyana Voltaire is a passionate and versatile dance artist currently training at SUNY Brockport, where she’s working toward a BFA in Dance and a BS in Business. She grew up dancing in Rochester and has been teaching in the community since she was 16. Her training spans tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, and modern, and she loves bringing that range into the studio. Iyana has toured with the Sankofa Drum and Dance Ensemble, presented original work, and performed at the Women in Dance Leadership Conference in Chicago. She also founded TETRA Dance, where she choreographs, produces, and shares work that blends storytelling, creativity, and strong technique. Her choreography has been featured at events including the Rochester Fringe Festival. As a teacher, Iyana cares about creating an encouraging, energetic space where dancers feel challenged and supported. She focuses on clean technique, musicality, and helping dancers surprise themselves with what they’re capable of.
