Vanessa Parra

Vanessa has been dancing since she was 3 and has not stopped since! She began her training at Magical Movements School of Dance in Harrison, New York, where she studied ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, modern, and contemporary/lyrical. Vanessa was apart of Magical Movements’ dance company, “The Shooting Stars”, and was an original member of their competition team, “Performance Project”. While on both teams, she’s performed at the iconic Madison Square Garden and worked with Broadway professionals such as Luis Salgado. She started assisting classes at Magical Movements at 13 and teaching classes of her own at 18. She is a junior at Nazareth University where she double majors in Early Childhood Education and Psychology with a Dance minor. Vanessa has a passion for dance, teaching, and children that is a major part of her life and is so happy to be apart of the Idols team!
